WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS TEAM?
Our competition team was created to give our dancers extra opportunity to GROW as a dancer and performer. Dancers take extra training, get additional performance opportunities, and get valuable feedback from judges to help guide them in areas to grow - performance quality, technical skills, and execution. Our goal is not to win 1st place (but it’s soo cool when they do!) - but to learn from each performance, and push dancers to GROW in their dance path!
Not only does this group give dancers additional performance experience, and more confidence on stage. It encourages them to set goals and put in the time to see the results. With dedication and hard work - they see increased flexibility, more clean and precise movements, and they dance with more artistry and expression. When kids feel safe, secure, and supported- there’s no limit to what they can accomplish! We can’t wait to get started!
